Alongside various superheroes, Flint led an E.A.G.L.E. in the investigation of [[Telseth]]'s doorway when it showed up. He ordered jets to fire missiles at it, in an attempt to break through, but they were intercepted by the superheroes, who feared splashback damage to the gathering witnesses. When Telseth came through at last, requesting a guide to humanity, Flint insisted it be an E.A.G.L.E. man but was refused. ("[[Through Open Doors (Part One)]]")

* His face, hair, and eyebrows together have a subtle but distinct hawkish look. Just the comic keeping with the bird-of-prey theme, or is there some connection to the [[Flannery Hawk|Hawk]] [[Stormhawk|family]], who too have E.A.G.L.E. ties?
* It's unclear whether Flint commands all of E.A.G.L.E., which would make him the modern day counterpart to Flannery Hawk, or just a division or branch.
