[edit] Hierarchy

The ranks within PYRAMID are named after various animals native to the Egyptian deserts. At the very bottom are the Jackal-troopers, who do the grunt work. Above Jackal-level, in ascending order, are Scorpion-level, Tiger-level, and, at the very top, Scarab-level. There might be levels in-between Scorpion and Tiger, though as there is a Crocodile-level members as well Furthermore, each level is further graded into three ranks, designated by numbers. For example, within Jackal-level are the ranks Jackal-Three, Jackal-Two, and Jackal-One at the top. Additionally, PYRAMID's Camel division performs the less labor-intensive assignments. Severely injured PYRAMID operatives are transferred there during their recuperation.

Above all this is the Saqqaran Order, named after the burial grounds of ancient Memphis, Saqqara. The five members comprising the Order style themselves after the Egyptian gods: Lord Ibis, Lord Osiris, Lord Ra, Lord Anubis, and Lord Horus. Also known as the Lord of the Theban Council- Lord Horus, Lord Ibis, Lord Set, Lord Lord Ra, and Lord Osiris.

They in turn obey PYRAMID's supreme commander, the mysterious Sekhmet Stone: A giant visage, stone and sphinx-like, that is somehow alive and claims to have knowledge and mystic insight of dynasties upon dynasties. Whatever this entity may be, it is named after the Egyptian warrior goddess Sekhmet, and it is supernatural in nature. Its existence is a closely guarded secret even within PYRAMID's ranks, and many are the operatives who have never heard of it.
